Funny you should ask. I intend on writing it up for my July dee p dive. On the specific US question however I would say at present, it has a free float of c. £9b and zero exposure to any index. When the listing changes, it will become a constituent of indices where 45% os the assets are passively held. That means when it goes in there will be c. £4b of forced buying from etf providers. That has to be a positive for existing investing.

Longer term, obviously we're going to start seeing interest from big active us tech and growth funds, which I feel will 'get'tge Wise opportunity far better than now.

I'd say it's very positive overall and I'm not surprised by the share price reaction. I wonder whether this move is being driven by the NEDd. Specifically Andreesen Horowitz

Q1 FY26 trading update

Wise will provide an update on 17 July 2025 with a summary of its mission progress and financial performance for the three months to 30 June 2025.
